ACT has been in close business relationship with Yong Choo Kui Shipyard Sdn Bhd in Sarawak, East Malaysia, since her founding in year 2008. After some successful business dealings, ACT has established a close business partnership with YCK.

Yong Choo Kui Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. (YCK) was established in 1976. Based on their unique skill, rich experience and remarkable effective work control system, YCK has rapidly expanded their shipyard from a small size shipyard to one of the biggest shipyards in Sarawak. YCK has more than 300 workers include qualified engineers, experienced technicians, trained personnel and sub-contractors at present.

 
Shipbuilding and ship repairs are YCK's core business activities. Under this partnership with YCK, we are able to produce Express Passenger Ferries (Alum/Steel), Aluminium Crew Baots, Tug Boats, Anchor Handling Tugs (& Supply), Multipurpose Diving Support Vessel, Pilot Boat, Fishing Boats, Cargo Vessels, Landing Crafts, Barges (Self Propelled & Dumb), Supply Boats, Fishing Trawlers, Leisure Crafts and many other offshore vessels. Besides marine constructions, we are also able provide technical consultation and engineering works to our clients.

In order to remain competitive in the construction cost, YCK has set up Poly Machinery & Hardware Sdn Bhd to maintain stable supply of marine equipment and relevant materials, to stay ahead of the competitions. YCK has also widened their waterfront with a new location (located at the new shipbuilding industrial escape) to meet the increasing demand.

Another prestigious partnership ACT has in East Malaysia is with GimHwak Shipyard Sdn Bhd located in Sarawak. GimHwak group of companies started their businesses in the shipping, ship repairs and shipbuilding activities since 1997.

The founder, who is also the Managing Director, has more than 40 years of rich experience in the marine industry ranging from repairs to design & build, to suit operations for various types of ships.

GimHwak has been very active in the shipbuilding industry and specializes in the building of Tug Boats, Barges, Landing Crafts, Offshore Support Vessels, Anchor Handling Tugs and Cargo Ships (of a smaller DWT).
