ACT has completed many projects through the new building of vessels and marine brokerage including some marine logistics projects over the past years.

Landing Crafts

We have delivered many landing crafts till date. These landing crafts ranged from 45m to 74.5m. They were built mainly for our clients from the Middle East and Australia, who have very high demand for standards. These landing crafts were built under the supervision of recognised IACS Class. They come with twin screw, ocean-going with unrestricted navigation. These landing crafts have the capacity to operated in offshore (oil & gas) environment.

ASD Harbour Tugs

With the support from our shipyard in China, we are able to build ASD Harbour Tugs of 50 to above 75 tons of bollard pull ahead / 45 to 70 tons of bollard pull astern. These designs are of Robert Alan, with either Niigata or Caterpillar engines. Our main client for this kind of harbour tugs are mainly from the Middle East and Sri Lanka, due to the ports expansion and development.

River & Ocean-Going Towing Tugs

We have delivered many tugs from river tugs of 12m with small twin engines and low draft, to big ocean-going towing tugs of 4400 bhp. Our clients for these tugs are mainly from Singapore, Indonesia, South America, Qatar and the UAE. They are built according to our clients requirement and the class included the IACS and BKI as well.

Barges

We have delivered many dumb cargo barges - oil barges and deck cargo barges. Some through new building while some through S & P brokerage. The size of the deck cargo barges ranged between 120ft to 365ft with deck strength of up to 20 t/sqm, including those specifications for carrying armoured rocks of up to 12,000 tons. The capacities of the oil barges were about 3,500 DWT. These barges were mainly built in China and Indonesia. Quality control was being exercised and construction being closely monitored. These barges were mainly delivered to our clients from the Middle East, Singapore and Indonesia. All of them were delivered on time.

Aluminium Crew Boats

We have recently embarked on the new building of 6 units of 42m Aluminium Crew Boats for 90 pax, able to cruise at a maximum speed of 26 knots. These are built to high specifications, for use in the offshore oilfields. This new development has brought us to an new era in the ship building business, where more customer will get to benefit of owning these boats at a cheaper price. Our clients who have placed the orders are mainly from the Middle East.

 

Offshore Support Vessels

We have also recently embarked into the new building of offshore support vessels which include Anchor Handling Tugs, Well Stimulation Vessels (non DP & DP2) and Accommodation Work Boats. These high end vessels shall be constructed in both China and East Malaysia yards. Our clients for these vessels are mainly from the Middle East and Africa.
